What is WhatsApp Quality Rating?
WhatsApp Quality Rating is a score that shows how people are reacting to your messages. It’s like a report card for your business communication on WhatsApp.
How Does It Work?
WhatsApp uses three levels to show your Quality Rating:
- High (Green): Great! Your messages are well-received.
- Medium (Yellow): Not bad, but some people aren’t too happy.
- Low (Red): Many people are unhappy with your messages.
Why is Quality Rating Important?
A good-quality rating keeps your WhatsApp account healthy. If your rating drops, you might get a warning. If it keeps dropping, your account can be blocked.
What Affects Your Quality Rating?
- Message Content: Useful and relevant messages help keep your rating high.
- User Feedback: when people block or report your messages, your rating drops.
- Opt-In Compliance: Make sure you only send messages to users who have given permission.
How to Keep Your Quality Rating High?
- Send Relevant Messages: Make sure your messages are valuable and interesting to your audience.
- Get Opt-In: Always get permission before sending messages to users.
Watch Feedback: Keep an eye on how users react and adjust your messages if needed.
What Happens If Your Rating Drops?
- Warning Notification: You’ll get a warning from Facebook Business Manager.
- Restricted Messaging: If the rating doesn’t improve, WhatsApp may limit how many messages you can send.
- Account Suspension: If the rating stays low, your account could get blocked.
How to Check Your Quality Rating?
You can check your Quality Rating in Facebook Business Manager. It updates regularly, so keep an eye on it to make sure your messaging stays on point.
Can I Send Broadcast Messages with a Low-Quality Rating?
When your Quality Rating drops, you’ll get a warning notification in your Business Manager Account. If this happens, stop sending broadcasts for a few days. This pause will help improve your Quality Rating.
Try to keep a good quality rating for a week, and it will likely return to a healthy status. However, if you keep sending broadcasts while your rating is low, it will keep getting worse, and eventually, your number could get blocked. So, pausing and letting your rating recover before sending more broadcasts is best.
How to Upgrade Your WhatsApp Broadcast Tier
To upgrade your WhatsApp Messaging Limit, you need to follow the latest WhatsApp policies.
Send Messages to Enough Users:
- To move up a tier, you need to send messages to at least half of the unique users allowed by your current messaging limit.
- For example, if your current limit is 1000 unique users per 24 hours, you need to send messages to at least 500 unique users in 24 hours to upgrade to the next limit of 10,000 users.
- Similarly, if your limit is 10,000 unique users per 24 hours, you need to send messages to at least 5000 unique users in 24 hours to upgrade to 100,000 users.
Maintain a Good Quality Rating:
- Your Quality Rating should be either Medium or High to upgrade to the next Broadcast Tier.
- A higher Quality Rating helps in smoothly upgrading your messaging limit.
